Cordova's HPPE Machinist gloves are ready to protect! The specail HPPE yarns have increased resistance to cuts thanks to glass fibers included. When the industrial application has cut hazards in a dirt-grime or light-oil ridden enviornment, the High Performace Polyethylene 13 gauge inner shell is upto the challenge. Machine washable and coated with a gray polyurethane palm exterior, these gloves can maintain grip while keeping a high amount of cut safety for your workers in dirty and oily enviornments. Tighly fitting knit shell and knit wrist keeps the glove in place during work for comfort and safety as well as keeps debris from entering the glove during work. Perfect for recylcing, sheet metal work and fabrication, machine shops as well as certain food-processing applications.

Aramid yarns are more brittle over time and less resilient to UV light which causes pre-mature breakdown and loss of cut resistance as well as absorbs water. Where as HPPE does not absorb water and is 10x more flexible over time without a loss of capabilities vs Kevlar improving a gloves life-span tremendously. HPPE can be machine-washed dozens of times without any loss of performance vs Kevlar.
