Corodva's cut-resistant High Performance Polyethylene (HPPE) has a tensile strength 15 times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis. Hand & Arm Protection made with HPPE is lightweight, comfortable, abrasion resistant and cut resistant. Tests have shown that gloves made with HPPE fibers have up to 20 times the abrasion resistance of gloves made with spun Aramid (Kevlar) yarns. These gloves are constructed with HPPE Safety yarns on the exterior while offering a cost effective Nylon/Lycra Interior.

CE/EN 388 Results: Abrasion Resistance: 4; Blade Cut Resistance: 4; Tear Resistance: 4; ANSI/ISEA Cut Level 1; CPPT: 421 grams.

Aramid yarns are more brittle over time and less resilient to UV light which causes pre-mature breakdown and loss of cut resistance as well as absorbs water. Where as HPPE does not absorb water and is 10x more flexible over time without a loss of capabilities vs Kevlar improving a gloves life-span tremendously. HPPE can be machine-washed dozens of times without any loss of performance vs Kevlar.
